Homemade hummus with fiery yellow Sriracha

Looking to spice up your Saturday night snacks? Or is still looking for a new one Hummus variant? We can help there. How about hummus? J.Kinski style? The familiar taste of chickpeas gets even better Show off with a dash of our slightly spicy YELLOW HEY Sriracha-Honey Sauce. All that's missing for your happiness are the right chips for dipping.

Ingredients for 3-4 servings:

  • 1 bottle of YELLOW HEY Sriracha-Honey Sauce
  • 1 can of chickpeas (drained weight 265 g)
  • 100ml ice cold water
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 lemon (including the juice)
  • 1⁄2 tsp salt
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 120g tahini (sesame butter, unsalted)
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil

And so it goes:

  • Drain the chickpeas in a sieve, collecting 50ml of the water and set a few of the chickpeas aside for decoration. Now add the lemon juice, garlic clove and salt to the blender and mix until you have a smooth mixture. Next, add the tahini paste and mix everything thoroughly again.
  • Now comes the most important step: alternately slowly add the ice-cold water and the chickpea water into the running mixer. A light and airy mass should slowly emerge. In the last step, add the chickpeas, olive oil and cumin to the mixture and mix everything for at least 3 minutes until the mixture has a creamy consistency. Now you can put your hummus in a large bowl and fold in our YELLOW HEY Sriracha honey sauce.
  • This gives you a super creamy, slightly fiery dip that is enough for the entire movie night. And all in under 5 minutes!
